Samurai Shodown (Samurai Spirits in Japan) is the SNK fighting game series with weapons that was announced back at last year’s TGS. This is the first entry of the series powered by Unreal Engine.
Coinciding the announcement of the Evo 2019 main stage games, Samurai Shodown was revealed to be one of said games, among eight others. With that, a new teaser trailer has more gameplay was released.
Samurai Shodown will be released sometime in early summer. But given that it is primed for Evo (to be held on August 2nd-4th), the game could possibly be released in July the latest.
Thankfully, the release will be simultaneously worldwide so everyone can get a hand of the fighting game at the same time. The game will also be playable at PAX East 2019.
