New In-Engine Trailer For S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 Revealed

GSC Gameworld is finally making S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 (for real this time), a sequel to the first-person horror-shooter with many sim mechanics (and bugs).

The sequel was re-announced back in a previous Xbox Game Showcase with a teaser trailer. This too is also a teaser trailer, but using assets running in-engine.

S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2, like the first game, will still take place in the Zone, the exclusion area affected by the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant. Not only is the place is full of radiation, mutants and other anomalies have developed in here, but stalkers continue to roam the land in search of treasures and mysteries.

Take a look at the trailer below, showing off the first-person perspective of this game’s protagonist- Skif.

S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 promises to be the horror-first-person-shooter immersive sim sequel, but hopefully with less jank this time around.
