Looks like futuristic anti-gravity racer Redout 2 is not yet ready to go flat out. Developers 34BigThings has announced the game getting delayed until June, missing its recently announced May 26 release date.
“This will help ensure we’re firing on all cylinders out of the gate and delivering the best gameplay experience for everyone,” the tweet from the Redout 2 game Twitter reads.
Redout 2 channels the spirit of the many anti-gravity racers from the late ’90s like F-Zero and Wipeout. The sequel promises more content with more tracks and more hovership chassis (which can be customised) as well as online multiplayer support (6 players on Switch, 12 on all other platforms).
Redout 2 is now set for launch on June 16, three weeks later than initially expected, and will be coming to the PS4, PS5, PC (Steam, Epic Games Store), Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch
