Red Dead Redemption Saddles Onto Nintendo Switch And PlayStation 4 This August 17

A unexpected surprise but quite welcoming as the adventures of one John Marston is set to be unleash from it’s slumber for both Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4 in two week’s time.

Red Dead Redemption is one of the all time classics within the Rockstar Game’s lineup, and weirdly serves as the sequel to their much more younger and more advanced game, Red Dead Redemption 2 (which released in 2018). The game follows our protagonist John Marston as he hunts down his remaining members of the Van Der Linde Gang, which he was once apart of.

This release also includes the incredible Undead Nightmare DLC, where zombies has taken over the Wild West and John has to stop this at all cost.

Curiously, these ports of the game is handle by the good folks at Double Eleven Studios instead of Rockstar themselves, much like the upcoming Max Payne 1&2 Remake that’s being handled by Remedy, and there’s no mention of a PC or even Current Gen release for this game within their blog post.

In any case, Red Dead Redemption is releasing digitally on both Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4 this August 17, with a physical release coming in October 13 for both systems.
