Red Dead Online Releasing As A Standalone Title On December 1

Here’s an interesting proposition for you: what if you can get Red Dead Online as a standalone title, and also for really cheap?

Rockstar Games is offering just that. Starting December 1, you can get Red Dead Online as a standalone game, for an introductory price of $4.99 USD (around RM20) until February 2021. Players can decide to purchase Red Dead Redemption 2’s Story Mode later.

It’s still a full-size install however, standalone RDO will take up 123GB of hard disk space.

Red Dead Online isn’t as popular as the money-making GTA Online is, but it has its fans. And Rockstar is still adding new content to the open-world multiplayer game. Next week, RDO’s Bounty Hunter role gets expanded with 10 more rank and a new 100 Rank Outlaw Pass (this game’s version of a battle pass).

And for those who are playing (or need a reason to play) RDO this week, there’s double XP rewards for all A Land Of Opportunities missions and Bounty Hunter missions, and discounts on Outfits, Horses, Repeaters, Pistols, the Schofield Revolver, Saddles and Improved Saddles, Coats, and Vests.

The stanadalone release of Red Dead Online will be available on December 1 on PS4, PC (Steam, Epic Games Store, Rockstar Games Launcher) and Xbox One.
