Rebuild A City After A Nuclear Apocalypse In Endzone – A World Apart

What if the world collapses today from the explosion of every nuclear power plant? That’s the setup of Endzone – A World Apart, a new city-builder by Gentlymad Studios, which just released in full after months in Steam Early Access.

It’s a post-apocalypse city-builder, but not in aesthetic alone. The land has been radiated and this is fully simulated. Depending on how humid or radiated that part of land is, it may be suitable for planting crops or stay clear.

There’s also a cyclic climate hazard to prepare. Sandstorms will arrive periodically, damaging the buildings (and bringing in radiation) and your citizens have to hunker down through it. You’ll need to ready stocks of food and water to survive through it.

You can send expeditions to loot the old world, and also have to brace for defence against raiders. And many other challenges that will test your city’s (and its citizens’) survivablity.

If you like city-builders with a survival twist ala Frostpunk and Banished, or a different take on Surviving The Aftermath (which is still in Early Access), Endzone might be something that piques your interest. It’s out now on Steam.
