Razer BlackShark V2 Gaming Headsets Now Available In Malaysia, Starts At RM349
Looking for a gaming headset? Razer has updated their BlackShark range of over-ear gaming headsets, designed and tested with some of the world’s top esports players.
The Razer BlackShark V2 uses a new 50mm audio driver, a new custom-tuned microphone and better passive noise cancelling earcups. Razer calls this combo as a “triple threat” in esports: clear sound, clear comms and minimal external noise. And the BlackShark is built around this audio trinity.
That new 50mm audio driver is Razer’s proprietary TriForce Titanium, as it’s called. It is paired on the software side with THX Spatial Audio, for better positional audio compatible with stereo, 5.1 and 7.1 sources. Locating footsteps and identifying where a noise comes from should be better than ever.
The detachable mic, called the HyperClear Cardoid Microphone, has a USB Sound Card, a small attachable dongle that lets you tune your settings even further. This includes features like Mic Boost, Voice Gate, Volume Normalization, Microphone Equalizer and Ambient Noise Reduction.
The ear cushions is an ultra-soft, breathable memory foam.
More importantly, the Razer BlackShark V2 is compatible with any 3.5mm jack-enabled device. So this includes the PS4, PC, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and any mobile device. The USB Sound Card is optional, and as the name implies, requires the use of a USB port It’s only for use on Windows 10 PCs.
Razer also released an entry-level, much cheaper version of the BlackShark V2. The BlackShark V2 X features the Razer 50mm TriForce driver, but not made in titanium. It also doesn’t include the USB Sound Card, but everything else is retained. Less overkill, sold at the fraction of the price.
The Razer BlackShark V2 X is now available in Malaysia at RM349. The full-fledged Razer BlackShark V2 is priced at RM599.
