Rainbow Six Quarantine Now Called Rainbow Six Extraction

Ubisoft has renamed the co-op shooter Rainbow Six Quarantine. For obvious reasons- that particular word is hitting way to close to home right now.

A new video reveals the name has now changed to Rainbow Six Extraction.

“We took the strong foundations of Rainbow Six Siege and crafted a modern co-op tactical shooter where you’ll be facing an always-evolving alien threat,” said creative director Patrik Methé. “You’ll have plenty of different challenges to overcome but will always have one goal in mind: making sure no one gets left behind.

“It will be up to you and your squad to decide when to push forward or when to extract. As you will soon discover, extraction is truly the name of the game.

Rainbow Six Extraction will be showcased at the Ubisoft Forward broadcast stream on June 12, 12 PM PT (June 13, 3 AM Malaysia Time, +8 GMT). It is one of the many, many E3 and Summer Game Fest streams you can catch next week.
