The first press conference from E3 2017 (which technically not part of E3 proper) has happened and a slew of announcements have been made. EA is opening up strong with a better presentation this year, but still with some slight oddness from some of the presenters on stage. What matters though is the games being shown off and they have a decent lineup shown this year.

Story Modes for Madden 18 and FIFA 18, More Esports
Madden 18 will be the first title in the American football series to include a story mode called the Longshot, taking cues to FIFA 17’s The Journey. This year’s FIFA will continue The Journey with an all new season- the first trailer making a big deal on protagonist Alex Hunter during the transfer window. Also, expect more esports push from these two games, with bigger tournaments to come.
NBA Live 18 was also announced.

Need For Speed:Payback’s First Gameplay Trailer
Two years after the 2015 reboot, Need For Speed is again taking another direction with Payback. The new gameplay trailer shows off some set-piece moments to expect which looks amazing, with the gameplay aspect- the handling and mechanics like taking down opponents- heavily reminiscent of the 2015 title and Burnout, for better or worse.

New IPs Announced
When you thought split-screen is getting irrelevant in today’s landscape, here comes a game that does some a bit inventive to it. From the creator of Brothers: A Tale Of Two Sons’ new Studio Hazelight, A Way Out is a split-screen co-op game about two convicts working together to break out of prison, and then some.
Bioware’s new IP has now been revealed as well. The codename Dylan is now called Anthem.

More Content For Battlefield 1, More Content For Star Wars Battlefront II Down The Line
Battlefield 1 will see another new DLC in the form of In the Name of the Tsar will bring a new frontline- Russia, with new maps and units to play as, including female soldiers. Star Wars Battlefront II will also see more free content being added after release, including content related to the upcoming Star Wars The Last Jedi, with maps being free.
