PlayStation announced that existing PS5 owners can get a new perk, a 6-month trial of Apple TV+.
This comes at no additional cost and will give you access to Apple’s all-original streaming service with exclusive streaming shows only available on that platform.
The offer is available from now until July 22, 2022, so that’s one year from now. So it’s not just for the early adopters that manage to get a PS5, which is still limited in stocks these days.
You will need to redeem the offer on PS5, which also requires an Apple ID to connect to Apple TV+.
Here’s how redeem the Apple TV+ trial offer on PS5:
- Find the Apple TV app from your PS5 console’s search bar, or find it under “All apps” in Media home
- Download and open the Apple TV app and follow the on-screen instructions
- Sign in with your Apple ID or create an Apple ID if you don’t already have one
- Enjoy your six free months of Apple TV+
Usually, streaming service deals like this only apply to North America and Europe. But this one is thankfully more global. Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, and Thailand are among the SEA countries eligible for this offer.
