Project CARS 2’s Upcoming DLC Adds More Porsches, And Even A Porsche Track

It’s 2018 and we are living in a post-Porsche-exclusive-to-EA world. More and more of the Stuttgart-based marque cars has been appearing in games outside of Need For Speed and Real Racing, and it will continue to be so in the near future.

For Project CARS 2, the raw, realistic racer from Slightly Mad Studios, their next DLC pack takes one step further by not just including more Porsche cars, but also a Porsche track.

The Porsche Legends Car Pack is to coincide the 70th anniversary of the brand’s first foray into making sport cars (the company itself existed earlier during pre-WWII times). Aside from some racing-spec Porsches througout the years, the “Porsche-On-Road Circuit” test track in Leipzeig is also included in the DLC. The test bed for Porsche cars features turns that replicate other corners from famous tracks including the S-bend at the star of Suzuka, the hairpin of Loews at Monaco and the tricky Mobil 1 S bend at the start of the Nurburgring GP track.

The Porsches that are confirmed so far to be part of the DLC pack is as follows:

  • 1973 Porsche 911 Carrera RSR 2.8 (pictured above)
  • 1971 Porsche 917
  • 1972 Porsche 917/10 “Turbo Panzer”
  • 2017 Porsche 911 RSR

The Porsche Legends Pack for Project CARS 2 is set to launch on March 6th.
