PGA Tour 2K21 Gets Its Own Version Of A Battle Pass, Adds Detroit Golf Club

PGA Tour 2K21 is taking a page on many live service games with the introduction of its own take of a battle pass- the Clubhouse Pass.

For the uninitiated, these are progression unlocks that rewards you for simply playing the game, usually with two tiers of levels- the free tier and the paid tier.

PGA Tour 2K21’s Clubhouse Pass follow the same formula. The Free tier available to everyone unlocks 15 rewards of the 75 levels available, at every 5th level. The Premium tier (costs at $7.99 USD) gives you access to all the rewards, should you able to unlock it on time.

There is also the Premium+ tier (costs $14.99) which skips the first 20 levels and have you unlock the rewards right away.

The Clubhouse Pass is available now on all platforms outside of Nintendo Switch, which is expected to arrive from less than three months from now. Clubhouse Pass Season 1 begins today and lasts until March 3, 2021.

The rewards are new customisation items for your created golfer (a very much needed addition). These includes gear from Mizuno, Goodr, and Under Armour.

In addition, a new official golf course has been added to PGA Tour 2K21. The Detroit Golf Club, home to the Rocket Mortgage Classic tournament, is now added to the game.

Also, expect to see some holiday-themed cosmetics added for free. Now you too can be dressed in jingle-jangle jumpers whilst competing for a Major. Because why not.
