Overwatch League- LA Gladiators Charges In

All the 12 teams for the inaugural season of the Overwatch League has been announced. The last of them is the second Los Angeles team, now known as the LA Gladiators.

The franchise is owned by Stan and Josh Kroenke, also owners of the NFL team LA Rams. The lion imagery used in the logo reflects that relationship. The Gladiator name is reference to the gladiators of Rome which also explains the colour scheme of purple and white.

Both LA teams are sporting an ancient warrior theme- the other being LA Valiant owned by Immortals. There is a lot of opportunities to spark some good rivalries between the two teams.

Overwatch League will start off with a pre-season exhibition matches in December 6 before the first season starts on January 18.
