Overwatch League- Boston Uprising Charges In

Another new team brand announced for the Overwatch League. The team owned by Robert and Jonathan Kraft will compete as the Boston Uprising.

Taking cues to the city’s history- it was the spark of the American Revolution that lead the to the Independence of the United States, the Boston Uprising will be adorned by the city’s colours of blue, yellow and black. The logo is the team’s initials stylised as a shield.

The team run owned by the Kraft brothers have yet to announce a roster, but they have secured Chris “HuK” Loranger as its president of gaming. HuK has been involved in the early days of Overwatch esports, including his roles on the analyst desk for the ELEAGUE’s Overwatch Open and a member of Team Canada in last year’s Overwatch World Cup. Plus, he was also a pro Starcraft II player, which should help the non-endemic organisation’s first foray in esports.

  • Lucas “NotE” Meisner
