Square Enix has announced the release date for People Can Fly’s upcoming co-op looter-shooter Outriders.
Previously targeting a holiday 2020 release, it will now release in February 2021 instead.
This will be true for Asia, where Square Enix will also be publishing. This is a notable little bit of info. A lot of Square Enix games from the North American/Europe side of the publisher is brought here by Bandai Namco like the recent Marvel’s Avengers. But not for Outriders.
In addition, it’s also confirmed that Outriders will include a free next-gen upgrade. Buy a copy of the PS4 or Xbox One version and get the PS5 or Xbox Series X|S versions free respectively.
There will also be cross-play between PS4, PS5, PC, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S. With everyone with any platform, essentially.
Pre-orders for Outriders are also live. It’s RM239 on PlayStation Store Asia for PS4, and RM234 on Steam. Outriders launches on February 2, 2021 for the PS4, PS5, PC (Steam), Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S.
