Roll7 and Private Division’s excellent skateboarding and platformer game OlliOlli World is getting one of its two expansions soon, Void Riders. A new gameplay video has dropped, showcasing what’s new and added with the expansion.
Void Riders will see aliens drop by down to Radlandia. You will meet Sair’Rah, Khehvyn, and Pftangxi who is secretly here to find skater specimens.
Void Riders will see three of the biomes getting new levels, but with some major changes to the environment. The lively beachside of Sunshine Valley has gone eerie and abandoned, the forest of Cloverbrook is now snowing and the hot deserts of Burntrock are storming.
Not only that, there will be levels that make use of tractor beams. The gravity manipulator and instrument of alien abduction can be used to your advantage to pull off bigger air for more sick and/or steezy tricks.
This is all to prepare for you to enter the new zone, The Void.
OlliOlli World Void Riders will also be adding space and alien-themed cosmetics.
If you love the base game’s simple but hard yet satisfying style of skateboarding, as we did, Void Riders looks like to bring more of that.
OlliOlli World Void Riders will be out on June 15.
