Oculus Studios, the first-party development team for Meta’s VR games, has announced the acquisition of three new developers at the 2022 Meta Connect event.
Camouflaj, the developers of Marvel’s Iron Man VR first released on PS VR, is among the three. Iron Man VR will also be released on Meta Quest 2 on November 3.
The other two studios are Armature Studio, the team responsible for Resident Evil 4 VR port on the Quest and Twisted Pixel.
Curiously, all three developers have had a history of creating games published by either Xbox or PlayStation directly.
The three studios join the list of Oculus Studios subsidiaries which includes Beat Games (Beat Saber), Sanzaru Games (Asgard’s Wrath), Ready At Dawn (Lone Echo), Downpour Interactive (Onward), BigBox VR (Population One) and Within (Supernatural fitness).
