Nintendo Labo: A DIY Experiment For All

Loot Boxes? More Like Cardboard Boxes.

Nintendo announced the most experimental thing they have come up with: A piece of cardboard box that can turn into objects  such as robots, fishing rods, doll houses and even pianos. This is the Nintendo Labo.

Use your creative arts skills to good use!

Using the Joy-cons IR capabilities, connect them onto the “Toy-Cons” (aka your newly created box toy) and you can either slot in the Switch’s main panel to turn it into a Fishing Rod or even use it like a AR device to steer your virtual robot while wearing a cardboard bag-pack with your switch in it. Quite interesting what Nintendo can do with this.

The kits will come in two packs: The Variety pack, which include the piano and fishing rod schematics, and the The Robot pack, aka the Robot Bag-pack thing. Both are priced at around 70/80 USD (277/318 MYR) respectively but sources say that the schematics will be free to download for all  when the game launches on 20th April this year and will only need the game cartridge to play them.
