Next GTA VI Trailer Drops Later This Month On Netflix First

For those waiting all summer (June-August) for any hint of Grand Theft Auto VI news other than the pre-order bonuses and how the highly anticipated game won’t come in discs, well, it is coming.

Rockstar Games just announced that “an extended look” of GTA VI, or Trailer 3 for those counting, will be dropping on August 27, 3 PM ET (August 28, 3 AM Malaysia Time, +8 GMT). The new trailer of information will be available first on, for some reason, Netflix.

When did a streaming service hosts trailer for games? It’s listed here, like just any other Netflix show, with tags and all.

In any case, expect to learn more about what to expect from Rockstar’s next full-fledged game since Red Dead Redemption 2 in 2018 by the end of this month. So far, we only teaser trailers that are presented as cinematics, rather than showcasing actual gameplay.

The new GTA VI trailer will be available later on 9 PM ET (9 AM Malaysia Time) on the Rockstar Games YouTube and the GTA VI site.

If you happen to have Netflix, you’ll get to watch it as soon as the trailer drops (if you’re willing to stay up that late, that is, it’s not a good time for folks in Southeast Asia).

A previous GTA VI trailer was leaked days before it supposed to premier, so this is one interesting way to prevent a similar issue from happening again.

Grand Theft Auto VI will be out on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S on November 19, but due to the game being a digital-only title, physical copies (which contains a download code rather than discs) will be available from November 12. Pre-loading will be available on November 12.
