ASUS ROG is diversifying even more of its line of gaming laptops. Before this, you can just get the pretty decent ASUS TUF for a budget-friendly gaming laptop, but this new line of ROG Strix G gaming laptops serves as nice new entry-level gaming laptop choice.
While the ROG Strix and Hero, both getting a refresh this year, is aimed for the esports crowd with a premium price tag, the ROG Strix G has more options, all below the RM6,000 budget.
Unlike the recently revealed ASUS TUF refresh and ROG Zephyrus G, these are powered by 9th-gen Intel Core CPUs.
These variants have been confirmed to be available in Malaysia by ASUS Malaysia. Here are the specs for each variant available:

Essentially, the first three variants are all under RM4,000 with a Core i5, 4GB RAM and at best a GTX1650. The other four has a Core i7, 8GB RAM and at most a GTX 1660Ti.
For those looking for a decent gaming laptop that’s not overly powerful, no need for ray-tracing these might be worth checking out. Plus points if you love the subtle look in your gaming laptops.
The ROG Strix G lineup will be available in Malaysia around mid-June.
