A new driver for Nvidia GeForce graphics cards is now available. Version 465.89 adds support for Nvidia tech to a bunch of new games, both upcoming and recently released.
For those playing Rainbow Six Siege, the game now has Nvidia Reflex support with this new driver update. Nvidia Reflex reduces system latency- i.e. input lag, the time from input to action in the game. Nvidia claims that input lag is now reduced significantly across all GeForce graphics cards. Up to 30% lower if you play using the Vulkan API.
Nvidia is also providing day-1 driver support to People Can Fly’s upcoming looter-shooter Outriders, alongside Nvidia DLSS support. This should let you get better framerates while still maintaining high resolution. Assuming you have an Nvidia RTX card that is.
Alongside that, the driver includes the following new features:
- Optimisations and enhancements for new games, including:
- DIRT 5’s new ray-tracing update
- Evil Genius 2: World Domination
- KINGDOM HEARTS Series
- Resizable BAR on all GeForce RTX 30 Series desktop graphics cards
