New GeForce GPU Drivers Available Now, Optimised For Red Dead Redemption II And Need For Speed Heat

Red Dead Redemption II is releasing later today on PC, and Nvidia has released some new Game Ready drivers just in time for the occasion.

While RDR 2 on PC does not have any particular real-time ray-tracing effects, Nvidia still recommends using RTX GPUs. To play it on high settings, 60fps at 1080p, they recommend an RTX 2060 for the job.

Though you can always check the game’s official PC specs yourself. We will also have an impression of the game running on PC this week.

In addition, the new driver is also to prep for Need For Speed Heat. The drivers should provide an overall smoother experience for Ghost Games’ latest racer coming out on November 8th. Borderlands 3 also got some optimisation as well for GeForce graphics cards users.

The new GeForce Game Ready 441.12 WHQL drivers are now available to download, either through that link or via the GeForce Experience app.
