The second wave of new games being added to Xbox Game Pass and PC Game Pass for August 2023 is a light serving, as the entree is coming in early next month with Starfield (assuming that it turns out to be a good video game, that is).
There are only four new games being added. Five if you count the surprise reveal of the enhanced Quake 2 being added last week. Or back to four since one game listed here is technically releasing in September.
One is a Game Pass returnee, with two being a day-1 release titles on Game Pass.
Sea Of Stars is an interesting title. Aside from its main appeal of being a throwback to 16-bit JRPGs, it’s also releasing day-1 on Game Pass and PS Plus’ Game Collection as well.
