During the recent Sony State Of Sony, Square Enix has showcase new details of their upcoming Final Fantasy game, Final Fantasy 16, and even showcase some new gameplay for us to enjoy.
The new trailer sees some new combat encounters where you would be face-to-face with your enemies, with said combat feeling similar to FF15, in terms of fluidity of the movement. The trailer even showcase a few summons that our main protagonist can call for and control the “Eikons” during encounters, which looks very cool.
What’s cool as well is the new UI where not only you can see your health bar, but the main enemy as well. Quite an interesting choice but it really does fit it’s new direction greatly.
With it heavily Medieval-inspired theming, it is fair to say that this Final Fantasy title is now going to be much awaited for Action RPG fans as the game is set to launch exclusively on the PlayStation 5 in Summer 2023.
