Black Desert has a new update. As expected, it comes with more limited-time events and goodies for players.
Until March 25th, the EXP Hot Time event returns. This brings in an increase of 150% Combat EXP and 30% for Skill EXP on weekdays, with a 300% Combat EXP and 40% Skill EXP on weekends from 7PM to 2AM. Expect crowded servers, but at least it applies to all servers.
The Monster-Hunting Aid Arrives Event will also last until March 25th. It’s a login event where you get rewarded for just showing up, and more rewards for playing up to 2 hours per day, a new reward every 30 minutes.
The Black Spirit’s Adventure board game also returns. It’s a random reward drop in the guise of a board game, where you get dice rolls. It’s a bit hidden, however. Look for it in the rewards tab after pressing Escape to bring the main menu.
Lastly, there’s the Toshi’s Request. Marni Stones can be collected to be exchanged for late-game items like Cron Stones and Valk’s Advice. More details on finding the stones and where to exchange them can be found here.
There are various balance changes to the classes as well. The big change worth noting is the reduce EXP cost to gain Contribution Points (CP). This is used for investing in buildings (for crafting and storage space) and connect trade notes. New players should see it being accrued faster than before.
You can check the changes in the patch notes here.
