NASCAR 25, the upcoming NASCAR console game by iRacing, will have a Career Mode spanning four different stock car series. This will allow players to start their careers racing in the regional series before climbing up the ladder to reach the NASCAR Cup Series.
For the first time, the ARCA Menards Series will be featured in a NASCAR video game. The regional stock car series is where most drivers build their reputation and experience, where small teams, sometimes based out of a backyard garage, compete.
Alongside the ARCA Menards Series, players can sign contracts, earn money, hire staff and expand their shop in Career Mode racing in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series, NASCAR Xfinity Series and NASCAR Cup Series.
In F1 terms, this is the equivalent of having Formula Regional as part of the career ladder in Career Mode alongside F3, F2 and F1.
Judging from social media reactions, the lineup of series, in particular ARCA, is a positive one.
NASCAR 25 will be the first game under iRacing, taking the reins from Motorsport Games to produce NASCAR games on console. The current-gen Gen 7 NASCAR Cup Series cars are available in other games including Forza Motorsport, but NASCAR 25 will have a lot more to offer for stock car racing fans.
NASCAR 25 is set to release in Fall (Q4) later this year.
