More Details About Monster Hunter World: Iceborne

At the Monster Hunter World Spring Update Livestream, a lot of focus was placed on the game’s upcoming expansion, Iceborne.

The expansion adds a new region, promised to be the largest region in Monster Hunter World.

Iceborne will also add “Master Rank”, similar to G Ranks in previous Monster Hunter titles and will come with its own story as well as new and returning monsters.

Meanwhile, the expansion is also adding improvements to the gameplay with fixes like using your slinger while sheathed, as well as new moves you can use with the slinger and unannounced new moves for all the game’s weapons.

The expansion will be available for pre-order today, and will be available on consoles September 6th while PC will be getting a “Winter release”.

For fans who can’t wait for the game, the Spring Festival is also coming to the regular version of the game, as well as Arch-Tempered Nergigante, the final new fight for Monster Hunter World before Iceborne’s release.

Arch Tempered Nergigante is coming to the game May 11th.
