Minecraft is finally joining Xbox Game Pass For PC next month. Announced at Minecraft Live 2021, this will be in the form of the Minecraft PC bundle, which includes both the Java and Bedrock (Windows 10/11) versions of Minecraft.
Both editions of Minecraft on PC can be accessed on the same launcher.
Java Edition is the original and de-facto version of Minecraft on PC, with support for custom mods. While Bedrock has cross-play with all console and mobile versions of Minecraft, as well support for Nvidia’s RTX settings.
Minecraft is now a Microsoft first-party IP, so it was just inevitable that the sandbox survival/creative-building game will be heading to the monthly games subscription service.
The Minecraft PC bundle will arrive on November 2 on Xbox Game Pass For PC.
