Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered Finally Being Offered As A Standalone Purchase

Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered, the PS5 remaster of Marvel’s Spider-Man on the PS4, is finally being offered as a standalone purchase later this May.

Previously, this remaster was only offered by purchasing the Ultimate Edition of Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales. Which was, and still is, an odd choice.

Three years since Miles Morales’ release, and with Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 still on track for release later this year, now players have more ways to purchase the native PS5 version of Marvel’s Spider-Man, with the standalone price thankfully only at $49.99 USD and not at the current full-price of $70.

The original release, oftentimes referred to as Spider-Man PS4, never got a next-gen upgrade. Spider-Man Remastered is the next-gen upgrade.

Speaking of, players who own any version of Marvel’s Spider-Man on PS4-physical or digital- will also be able to purchase Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered as an upgrade at a cheaper price (the US has it at $10 USD).

Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 will be releasing sometime this Fall (late September at the earliest). A prequel comic for Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 will be available to download on May 6 in the US as part of Free Comic Book Day, and available worldwide at a later date.
