Logitech G Launches New 2023 Yeti Microphones For Streaming And Gaming

Two new USB mircorphones launched under the Logitech G brand today, and it has a name familiar to streamers, content creators, and gamers looking to stream and create content online.

The Logitech G Yeti GX, and Logitech G Yeti Orb are available in Malaysia beginning today.

Early this June, Logitech announced that the Blue brand name is being merged under Logitech G. So these are 2023’s Blue Yeti mics essentially, now under a new brand name.

“The design and engineering experts at Blue Microphone and Logitech G partnered to create a unique gaming microphone with professional-grade audio and a host of features tailor-made for gamers,” said Vincent Borel, Vice President at Logitech G.

“We understand that gamers want to engage and share their experience with their audience. For those that play to be seen, this is the gear that enables them to play together and express themselves to your community.”

The new Logitech G Yeti mics both feature Lightsync RGB tech and integration with the Logitech G’s GHub software alongside VO!CE support. So these mics work better within the Logitech G ecosystem.

Both mics are touted to be the best at handling Max Sound Pressure at this price point, so it can take on some loud noise before the audio from the mics get distorted.

And they are also “camera-ready”, as these Yeti mics have adopted the clean, sleek gamer aesthetic (with the all-important RGB lighting) as seen in the broader Logitech G line that makes them look good on camera. No really, turn off the RGB if you think that’s a bit much and these little mics look great on the desk or hanging of a mic arm.

The Logitech G Yeti GX, the premium of the two offerings, offers a supercardioid pickup pattern, the use of a scroll wheel similar to a Logitech G gaming mouse, and Smart Audio Lock that can provide consistent audio quality and auto gain adjustments.

The Yeti mics have been a good starter mic for those who want to game and start creating content, but wanted a more accessible entry point, price-wise as well technical know-how wise. These USB mics are designed for plug-and-play use, and from there you can start dabbling with audio setting should you want. Or leave it as is and still have your voice sound clear enough.

In Malaysia, the new 2023 Logitech G Yeti microphones are now available on Logitech G’s Lazada and Shopee page.
