The Logitech G G325 Lightspeed gaming headset is now available in Malaysia. The wireless headset, powered by Logitech G’s Lightspeed wireless tech, is poised as a more affordable entry point to gaming headsets, priced at a decent RM429.
Despite the non-premium price, Logitech G is boasting that these cans do have premium audio and performance to challenge the pricier options available. The Logitech G G325 Lightspeed supports 24-bit audio rather than the usual 16-bit audio bit depth, the range mostly used in professional studios.
As it is a headset, the G325 comes with an omnidirectional microphone that includes optional AI noise reduction. You can turn it off if you prefer reducing mic noise through your own means. The mic itself is built into the headset, with no protruding element.
The G325 Lightspeed is compatible with a PS4, PS5, Switch and Switch 2 console as well as on Windows, macOS and mobile devices with a USB 2.0 port connection. The Lightspeed connection is done via a USB 2.0 (USB-A) dongle. It also supports Bluetooth 5.2 and connect to devices using Bluetooth 5.0 and above.
The G325 is also lightweight (at 212g) and with a touted battery lifetime of over 24 hours. There is a USB-C port on the headset for charging, with a USB-C to USB-A cable included out of the box.
The Logitech G325 Lightspeed works better with G Hub software and mobile app. Through these, you can adjust the EQ settings, select presets optimised for select games, even limit the battery charge to just 80% to extend the battery lifespan.
And for the more environmentally conscious gamers, the Logitech G325 Lightspeed is made up of up to 46% post-consumer recycled (PCR) plastics. The headset comes in black (with purple trims) and white (with mint accents).
The Logitech G 325 Lightspeed wireless gaming headset is now available in Malaysia for RM429 at authorised partner stores, and the Logitech Official Store on Lasaza and Shopee.
