Square Enix has shown us their latest installment in the teenage drama adventure game, Life Is Strange.
Under the development hands of Deck Nine Games (the folks who made the prequel series, Before The Storm), players will be playing as Alex Chen, a girl with psychic powers that can see a person’s true colors of emotion (hence the title) and using it to uncover the details behind her brothers mysterious death.
One thing to note is that this won’t an episodic romp like the previous three games but a game with one complete story without any waiting for a episode release. Though there will be an option to play it like the old-style as well via Chapter breaks.
And that’s not all, the ultimate edition of this game will include the remastered version of the original game and Before the Storm, now with included graphic enhancement and improvement animation. No word on when that will launch as a standalone game though.
Life Is Strange: True Colors will launch on September 10 for the PS4/PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Google Stadia, and PC.
