Konami has officially revealed that our local Malaysian Football League, or MFL, is going to be included as part of a long-term partnership between both sides. This includes all teams competing in this season, and even have face-scanned players for certain teams.
This inclusions marks the second Southeast Asian League that’s included in the game since the addition of the Thai League 1 and its team, along with Asian Federation Confederation (AFC) Champions Leagues qualified teams, which had Johor Darul Ta’zim (JDT) FC and Selangor FC as playable teams.
All of this will be coming as part of the latest eFootball title update that also includes the spiritual successor to Masters League, now becoming the Masters League Sprint, an online career-esque mode where you can track player development and manage their fatigue level to ensure your team victory.
All these and more will be part of the eFootball update v5.4, which is available now. The game is available on most major platforms, mobile and PC.
