Well that didn’t take long. Journey To The Savage Planet, one of the year’s surprisingly good releases, is already getting a DLC. The Hot Garbage expansion has you explore a new planet, DL-C1 (heh), to clear up the planet of toxic wastes. Literal hot garbage.
And if the level of snark is not enough, now you get another snarky AI on top of the one already there that will berate you throughout your journey. The new expansion also adds more traversal tools, from a jetpack (nice) to underwater boots for more exploration shenanigans.
Expect also new aliens and enemies to encounter, and what seems to be more photo mode poses too.
Journey To The Savage Planet’s Hot Garbage DLC is out now on PC (Epic Games Store) and it’s coming to PS4 soon. In the meantime, check out our review of the game here.
