Resident Evil 3 is being remade. Not a big surprise considering Resident Evil 2 is great (it won our Best Remake/Remaster Award for GM GOTY 2019). What was surprising was how soon it is coming.
That being said, there are some questions fans have had. Like the redesigned Jill Valentine, whose face is much more exotic than her previous outings.
Like the current crop of game using the RE Engine like RE 2 Remake and Devil May Cry 5, the faces are based on real-life actors or models. This is the case for Jill. Model Sasha Zotova has announced on Instagram that she is the face model for Jill in Resident Evil 3.
So Jill now has the face of a Russian model. And Sasha herself is pretty stoked and honoured to be so, which is always cool to see.
Resident Evil 3 will be out on April 3rd. Alongside the remake, it also includes Resident Evil Resistance, the 4v1 asymmetric multiplayer mode.
