It’s Time To Make History in F1 2017, Out This August

Codemasters has announced the latest edition of their F1 series, F1 2017.  The main highlights for this edition is the return of classic F1 cars, absent since the 2013 game.

Twelve fan-picked classic cars from 30 years of the sports history will be included in the final game, with three of the cars being announced today. Those cars are the 1992 Williams FW14B, raced by Nigel Mansell, the Ferrari F2002 of Michael Schumacher and the most famous of the trio, Aryton Senna’s McLaren MP4/4.

Further classic cars will be reveal in the coming weeks along with 20 of the new-spec 2017 cars.

With an even deeper career mode, numerous multiplayer enhancements, and a brand new ‘Championships’ game mode, the game will also include alternative tracks in four of the 20 tracks on the official F1 calendar, presumably to accommodate the inclusion of the classic cars into the main game’s career mode.

The announcement trailer below shows a cinematic of the three cars along with a very familiar noisy engine sounds.

F1 2017 will release for Playstation 4, Xbox One and PC worldwide on August 25th 2017. You can preorder for the PC version on Steam here!
