Super Woden GP 2, an isometric racer by indie developer ViJuDa, is out now.
A “love letter to the world of motorsports”, Super Wooden GP 2 features a massive list of cars for a game of its scale (180 cars), a variety of championship and races that ranges from endurance races and rallies to arcade races.
The game includes car tuning, 9 different car manufacturers and various tracks (all of them are fictional, but in the “if you know you know” kind of way) and 4 player split-screen multiplayer.
There is a world map that acts as the game’s menu system that should hit some nostalgia boxes. Think Ridge Racer Type 4 and Gran Turismo 2 and you’ll find something you remember loving so much in Super Wooden GP 2.
The racing itself is done through a top-down, isometric view in the vein of Circuit Superstars, or for an older callback, RC De Go.
Super Wooden GP 2 is aimed at a very specific audience, and if you are part of that audience, the game is out now on PC (Steam).
