Hot Wheels Unleashed Will Have 66 Cars On Launch, Includes Licensed Cars And Other Pop Culture Cars

Milestone has released a full list of cars that will be available when Hot Wheels Unleashed releases this September.

We already know to expect a bunch of Hot Wheels originals in their true-to-form diecast appearance, but the list of 66 cars isn’t limited to just that. Any Hot Wheels diecast can be included, including cars from other IPs and licenced cars from real manufacturers.

Want to race in K.I.T.T. from Knight Rider versus a Honda S2000? Sure. Heck, Hot Wheels Unleashed will even include the DeLorean from Back To The Future, which is a licensed car and a car from another entertainment IP at the same time.

For Hot Wheels purists, don’t worry as the bulk of the cast of diecast cars are mainly original cars from the toyline.

At the time of writing, there are only 58 revealed of 66 cars, with at least one car like Bone Shaker that is only available on the more expensive editions. Though with at least two “Hot Wheels Pass” coming, expect to see more cars being added post-launch.

Also, a reminder that the game will have a livery editor, so you can paint these diecasts anyway you want. Unless there’s restrictions for the non-Hot Wheels cars that we don’t know yet.

Hot Wheels Unleashed will be out on September 30 for the PS4, PS5, PC (Steam, Epic Games Store), Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch.
