Milestone dropped an early Christmas gift for Hot Wheels Unleashed players with another drop of free DLC. Following the free Thanksgiving Pack last month, the Christmas Pack adds three new cars to the arcade racer, which you can claim and download now.
The Christmas Pack includes the Rockin’ Santa Sled, a Hot Wheels original where Santa swaps reindeers for horsepower- with Santa and some presents visible in the interior. There’s also the Bazoomka, the small jet with big thrusters and propellers on wheels. Finally, the pack adds another car from the much-loved AcceleRacers line: the Synkro- which exudes tuner culture styling.
You can grab the Christmas Pack DLC now available on all platforms. You can get it from the in-game DLC page, which should lead you to your platform’s store page to claim the free DLC.
Also, Milestone announced that Hot Wheels Unleashed has sold 1 million units across digital and physical sales, since its launch on September 30.
This makes Hot Wheels Unleashed to be Milestone’s fastest-selling game ever, a new milestone for the Italian developers with a long history making racing games, dating back to the old Screamer series.
“Ever since we announced Hot Wheels Unleashed back in February, we’ve received thousands of heartfelt messages from fans,” said Luisa Bixio, CEO of Milestone. “This milestone is the umpteenth display of affection from our passionate community.”
