Horizon Chase Turbo is an arcade racer with inspirations from retro, 16-bit racers like Top Gear and OutRun. Developed and published by Brazil-based Aquiris, the game is out now since May 15th, 2018 for the PS4 (though not on PS Store Asia), PC (Steam), Xbox One and Nintendo Switch.
More recently, the developers are announcing that more content is coming to the game and has released a roadmap on what to expect in starting mid-2019.

An overhaul of Playground Mode, Playground Mode 2.0, will be coming. Aside from being a seasonal list of events and leaderboards, you can now earn coins and unlock new prizes like skins for your cars. There will also be new DLCs in the form of new campaigns and also new cars.
Lastly, there will be new game modes added to the game. The developers haven’t revealed what exactly they are right now, but they are listening to feedback and suggestions from players over on social media.
Fans of the game should be happy to see the game’s continued support. This all sounds like really nice additions on top of the 12 campaigns, 109 tracks and 31 cars already available in the game.
