Horizon Chase Getting An Expansion Paying Tribute To F1 Legend Ayrton Senna

Arcade racer Horizon Chase, developed by Brazillian devs Aquiris, announced a new expansion. The Senna Forever expansion pays tribute to three-times F1 World Champion from Brazil, Ayrton Senna.

The Senna Forever expansion adds a variety of cars, tracks and some features inspired by the legend’s career.

There’s no official F1 license here, but you get open-wheel race cars in this expansion with liveries that Senna used to drive in, from the black-and-gold car he debuted in to the famous white-and-red that he won his three world championships with.

The tracks included are also F1-inspired, including one that looks unmistakenly like the streets of Monte Carlo.

The Senna Forever expansion also includes a single-player career mode where you follow Senna’s journey in five chapters. In this mode, you can race with the first-person cockpit camera. And there’s also strategic depth added in the form of changing weathers and cate setup options.

The expansion also has a championship mode where you get to pick 18 different teams and unlock 30 different cars. On consoles and PC, you can also take part in this mode with up to 4 players via split-screen multiplayer.

Aquiris partnered with Senna Brands for this expansion. Part of the profits from this expansion will be dedicated to supporting the Ayrton Senna’s Institute educational programs.

The Senna Forever expansion for Horizon Chase will be out on October 20 for the PS4, PC (Steam, Epic Games Store), Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch as well as on iOS and Android.
