Here’s The Reveal Trailer For Assassin’s Creed Valhalla

As promised, Ubisoft has showcased the reveal trailer for the newly announced Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. A cinematic trailer, not gameplay.

Still, it gives a glimpse of the historical setting, and the characters at play here.

In Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, you play as Eivor- a male or female Viking raider. As the job implies, the game isn’t set in the Norse home of the Scandinavia. But you are raiding 9th-century England, during the dark ages, hoping to build a settlement.

The trailer shows off Eivor on their journey, and goes into a raid, with a one-on-one fight happening in the battlefield. The hidden blade, absent in recent Assassin’s Creed games, is now back.

The news release seems to imply the RPG elements from the recent games will continue to be prevalent in Valhalla, as you can make decisions with dialogue. There is also a settlement building mechanic, and enhancements to the combat system.

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla will be out in Holiday 2020- this end of the year- for the PS4, PS5, PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and Stadia.
