Persona 5 is already out in Japan. But the English version is still on its way. The dubbing and localisation is still in the works, and finally we get to see a glimpse on how the English voice cast will do.
The folks at IGN has the full voice cast. They cast are as follows:
- Xander Mobus as the protagonist
- Cassandra Morris as Morgana
- Max Mittelman as Ryuji Sakamoto
- Erika Harlacher as Ann Takamaki
- Matt Mercer as Yusuke Kitagawa
- Cherami Leigh as Makoto Niijima
- Erica Lindbeck as Futaba Sakura
- Xanthe Huynh as Haru Okumura
- Robbie Daymond as Goro Akechi
Yes, even the protagonist (which can be personally named) will be voiced this time around. While Persona 4 has its protagonist, the subsequent anime and spin-off games like Persona 4 Arena established him a voice and name. So it’s interesting to see P5’s protag getting a voice in the game. Plus, the VA for him was the announcer in Super Smash Bros. for the Wii U and 3DS. Though we suspect he would use another voice for the protagonist.
Here’s a short trailer with all the newly-introduced English cast, this one showcasing the Protagonist.
Persona 5’s English release will be on February 14 on the PS4 and PS3. Fingers crossed that the English translation will hit Southeast Asia the same time as well.
