SNK has revealed gameplay footage of the next DLC character heading to Fatal Fury: City Of The Wolves. It’s Chun-Li from Street Fighter.
The second of the SNK X Capcom crossover that goes both ways (Terry and Mai are now in Street Fighter 6), Chun-Li has found herself here in South Town to investigate a criminal syndicate.
Ol’ auntie Chunners hasn’t retired yet from her police work, apparently and of course, leading lady of Street Fighter has some beef with her Fatal Fury counterpart, with a custom intro when facing against Mai.
Chun-Li in City Of The Wolves, similar to Ken, carries over a lot of her moveset, adapted to this fighting game’s systems. She has her Spinning Bird Kick in here, for example.
Like most DLC characters, Chun-Li is playable in Arcade mode and Episodes Of South Town, both offering some narrative and story for fans to experience.
Chun-Li comes with both her Street Fighter 6 getup and her classic Street Fighter II costumes (a.k.a. her Outfit 2 in SF6).
Chun-Li is part of Season Pass 1 of DLC characters for Fatal Fury: City Of The Wolves, which comes with the Special Edition of the game. However, only the Special Edition is available for purchase, which effectively makes the entire cast of Season Pass 1, all five of them, free DLC.
The DLC characters in Season Pass 1 of Fatal Fury: City Of The Wolves are Andy Bogard, Ken from Street Fighter, Joe Higashi, Chun-Li and Mr. Big from SNK’s Art Of Fighting series.
Chun-Li will be available in Fatal Fury: City Of The Wolves sometime later this year (Winter 2025).
Fatal Fury: City Of The Wolves is out now on PS4, PS5, PC (Steam) and Xbox Series X|S.
