Here Are The Main Stage Games For Evo 2019
The premier fighting games tournament in the world, Evo, has announced the nine games that will be on the main stage. This is an increase from eight last year.
The lineup has quite a shake-up of the main stage games. Street Fighter V and Tekken 7 remains. Arc System Works’ games have reduced to two- Dragon Ball FighterZ and Blazblue Cross Tag Battle.
Smash, a staple on the main stage, has only one game this time which is Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. NetherRealm Studio’s one slot is now occupied by the upcoming Mortal Kombat 11.
Interestingly, SNK is back and will have the new Samurai Shodown on the main stage. Bandai Namco gets another game on there with Soul Calibur VI.
Lastly, rounding of the nine games is another air-dashers favourite: Under Night In-Birth Exe:Late[st] (UNIST). It’s an unexpected pick, but a pretty interesting pick nonetheless.
Evo 2019 will be held on August 2nd-4th at Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA. Street Fighter V, Tekken 7, Blazblue and Smash Ultimate will be played on the Sunday Finals.
