Grid (2019) Season 2 Adds Red Bull Ring, New Track Day Supercars And A Career Mode Expansion

Grid (2019) is getting another season of post-launch updates. Some will be free to all players, while some are limited to Ultimate Edition owners.

Free for all is the new track inclusion- Red Bull Ring. The Austrian track is known for its undulation and short length, but still a great track to race on.

Six new cars are being added, all in the new Track Day GT discipline as part of the Track Day Supercar pack. These are track day supercars that are not road legal, and you can see why.

The four cars exclusive to Ultimate Edition owners are:

  • Ferrari FXX
  • Aston Martin Vulcan AMR Pro
  • Brabham BT62
  • Pagani Zonda Revolución

The Brabham BT62 (pictured) is an interesting inclusion. This is a revival of the brand that raced in Formula 1 back in the 60’s and 70’s and this is possibly one of the first appearances of the new BT62 in a console video game.

These two cars, also part of the Track Day Supercar pack, but free for everyone:

  • Ferrari 599XX Evo
  • Ford GT Heritage Edition

The last of the paid content is a career mode expansion. 33 new events will be added that utilises the track day supercars and Red Bull Ring.

As for other free features and updates, Grid (2019) now lets you increase the career mode race length, lobbies for multiplayer and the Pagani Zonda Revolución available as a loaner car for multiplayer.

Season 2 for Grid (2019) will drop on February 12th. The game is out now on PS4, PC (Steam), Xbox One and Stadia.
