Mihoyo has revealed the content for the upcoming Version 2.2 update for Genshin Impact, which includes the final island update for Inazuma and a new character in the form of Thoma.
The update, releasing next week on 13 October, is the swansong for the Inazuma region as their final destination island, Tsurumi, will be made available to players about to explore its foggy secrets within the corrosive status lands.
This also includes a new character (two new characters if you’re getting Ice-class Aloy from the Horizon series, for other platforms), Thoma. He is the latest pyro-based character, whose main weapon is the polearm, will be a part of the new update banner that includes fellow Pyro character, Hu Tao and the fan-favorite Hydro, Childe.
A few events will be starting during this update too. With the likes of Labyrinth Warriors, Tuned to the World’s Sounds, and Shadow of the Ancients doing the rounds during this time as well.
Genshin Impact’s latest update will launch on October 13 for PlayStation 4 and 5, PC and Mobile Devices.
