Codemasters have released a free trial for its annual Formula 1 game. The F1 2020 free trial includes a taster of the MyTeam mode and a split-screen multiplayer race.
The new-for-2020 MyTeam mode lets you create your own team as a team owner/driver. The trial lets you be the 11th team on the grid of the Australian Grand Prix, and you get to pick who’s your teammate from the list of 2019 Formula 2 drivers.
The split-screen multiplayer mode lets you race on the Red Bull Ring, Austria with a mate. You can try out the casual handling mode if you’re new to the series or just prefer a simpler experience.
Progress on MyTeam will carry over to the full game should you purchase it later.
