Brutal Legend takes a roadie named Eddie Riggs into a world shaped out of lyrics of heavy metal. With an extensive soundtrack that has almost all the greatest bands from various branches of the music genre, it’s one imaginative world. It also features voice-overs from Ozzy Osbourne and the late Lemmy Kilmister, legends in heavy metal.
The action combat plays a bit like Devil May Cry though the strategy aspects of the game are very experimental and was not received that well.
For the price of free, it’s worth checking out. This was a game that went into development hell, only for EA, of all people, rescuing it.
