Forza Motorsport 7 May 2019 Update Adds IndyCar

Forza Motorsport 7 continues to trickle down new content with each month and for May 2019, they are adding IndyCars. Just in time for the 103rd running of the Indy 500 later this month.

The update adds for new 2019-spec IndyCar, two from Chip Ganassi Racing powered by Honda engines with the other two from Team Penske using Chevrolet engines.

The new-gen cars all have spec aero- the Universal Aero Kit- with purposely lower downforce from previous years so it can provide closer racing and be more reliant on driver skill. The in-game cars also have two aero kits just like real IndyCars, one for race courses and one for oval racing.

Not only that, but there’s also one classic IndyCar returning to Forza. The 1969 Ford Brawner Hawk III which Mario Andretti piloted to his, and to this date, his family, sole Indy 500 win. The car is sporting a new black and gold livery to commemorate the 50-year anniversary since the win. Also included is the Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 pace car.

Here’s the full list of cars, free for all players:
